On his first solo album, Vienna-based bassist and producer Bernd Amman places his original instrument at the center of his compositions. The e-bass is enhanced with the help of electronic aids and used for rhythmic structures, warm melodies and abstract effects. In this sound variety he orchestrates trumpet, oud, darbouka and beatboxing.
